I am looking for a digital camera from a trustworthy brand that will deliver GREAT quality pictures. I do not want a camera that produces grainy or blurry pictures. I also want the camera to have nice features and it the camera has to be compatible with Windows Vista. Does anyone know of a good camera? I also would prefer that the cam is sold with and AC adapter and at least a little bit of internal memory. Thanks so much! I am having trouble figuring out what digital cams are good.

Just starting out and need to know the basics that every photographer needs to know. I’ve taken pictures with point and shoots for years, but want to advance.
Needs to have photography terms and instructions for all aspects of photography… from which lenses to use for certain photos to cleaning the lenses (and everything in between).

I need help finding the best camera that can be triggered via wireless or USB and transmit photos to location nearby (less than 100 feet) where they can be processed/edited to crop portions and to add background and frames. Need high resolution.
Is Nikon or Canon best? Is there one software package that does all this or do I need a control package like control pro and another for capture and processing.

I recently purchased the Canon Vixia HF200 digital camcorder. What can i do, as far as changing settings go, to optimize the quality and get the best out of my new camcorder… Also any tips such as low-light filming suggestions and stuff like that would be immensely helpful.

My wife is starting an onsite photography business. We know we need a business license, but what else. I want to help her as much as possible but I dont know enough about the photography world. Do we need insurance? Does anyone know of a good website that has information on starting a photography business. They are so much different than any other kind of business out there. Many of the pictures my Sony Elixim (orange credity card style) camera takes are now coming in blurry? Especially when I zoom in very close. Even when I take normal shots, the pictures seems rough and not crisp. Is the camera dead or can this be fixed?
I also have a Casio Digital Elf camera that is a few years older and I just turned it on for the first time and the digital screen is flashing lines and I can barely see what’s in the picture. Plus everything is like a shade of red. Is this the digital display or is this a lens problem?

Best buy wants $40.00 and on ebay I could get 2 batteries for $8.99 with shipping. At best buy they said the batteries only last 1-2 years and are generic canon!

I’m shopping for a new digital camera, and all the models that interest me have no viewfinder, “LCD only.” This seems like it might be a problem, since if the LCD screen breaks, or there is a glare on the screen, it will be difficult to line up a good shot. How important is the viewfinder on a digital camera, and why do so many compact and subcompact cameras have LCD only, rather than a viewfinder and and LCD like the other cameras I’ve owned? Do you have any suggestions for a good camera under $400 with good shutter lag?
