Is there a limit to the CF size on the Canon Powershot G2? Its an old camera that I am looking to take on a long trip and dont mind if it gets banged up.
All of the online help keeps telling me that my computer should automatically recognize my camera through the usb port, but it doesn’t. I’ve gone to the canon website and downloaded the driver and installed it, but it still doesn’t work! I need to get my pictures! can anyone please help me?
I just got my MacBook Pro and I’m trying to take videos from my camera [Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS] so that I can edit them on iMovie 09, but it won’t recognize the video clips. I don’t think they’re in the right format. Are there any modes I can change on my camera or my computer to make this work? Or am I just doing it wrong?
My camera is a point and shoot and doesnt have an intervalometer. Can anyone help me out with an easy way to do time lapse photography with it? I found some software called CHDK for canon cameras but I cant figure out how to install it on my camera. I need something that I can mod my camera with so I dont have to keep it attatched to my computer.
I seem to like Canon but I’m not sure if there are any other good brands for digital cameras. Just want some other opinions. Thanks!
I’m a teenager who really wants to get into photography and was wondering if the canon g9 would be a good first step?? I’m willing to spend up to $800. Any reviews or suggestions would be great
Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn’t find a specific enough answer or something that really fit. Is the Canon Powershot SX10 considered a professional camera? I want to take it to sporting events and am curious, I’m also thinking of calling the specific venue I’d go to most often but thought I’d take an opinion or two here. thanks!

I am running Windows 2000 Professional. I downloaded the software from disk supplied by Canon. I restart my computer & remove the disk, per instructions. I then connect the camera to the computer, turn it on, then I’m taken on a round-n-round journey to install the driver & new hardward. I’m able to install the camera thru the Control Panel. I just can’t seem to get my computer & camera to get along & work together! Help!
