Any ideas? I have a sony a380, I want to take a pic of an oncoming train and i want the background blurred, whats the best aperture, shutter and iso settings?
I want to take an amateur family photo in my backyard and I asked my friend to come over and snap some photos for us. I just have a basic point and shoot camera (Cannon Powershot SD750 Digital Elph), but I still want the photo to come out decent. I live in a snowy state and the sun goes down around six o’clock in the evening. What are the best settings on my camera and what would be the best time of day/lighting for the mini photo shoot? Any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!
*additional info:
We will be wearing browns, greens, neutrals and the backdrop is our brown fence that is a little rustic looking.
i Have a Canon Powershot a590 is and The pictures look awesome on The screen but when i upload them to my computer they look really grainy… I moved out of state and i cant seem to find my Manual =[ so i was just wondering if anyone can help me with this problem? i would soo appreciate it…
I’ve got a Canon EOS 500D and I want to start astrophotography but I’m not sure on what the settings that will give me the best images. Also, is there a way to take exposures without having to hold down the button and without buying a shutter control remote or using a laptop?
Thanks!
I have a really great camera, with good quality, but I messed with the settings so now the pictures come out a bit crappy.
I would like to find settings that take the best pictures for
-taking pictures outside without flash, with clarity
-concerts with flash without the spots or bad quality
-indoors that have somewhat bad or good lighting with and without flash.
-outdoor photography
please and thank you!
I usually do outside pictures, so I need a little advice on which settings to use. Do I need a flash? I have a list of pics I want to take, so I’m prepared that way, I’m mainly worried about proper lighting.
What is the best way of describing Increasing or decreasing ISO settings in a digital camera in terms of a film camera?
Buying film for a film camera that has different sensitivity to light.
or
Buying film for a film camera that has white balance compensation built-in.
I don’t know much about film cameras and am trying to learn. Thanks!
I recently purchased the Canon Vixia HF200 digital camcorder. What can i do, as far as changing settings go, to optimize the quality and get the best out of my new camcorder… Also any tips such as low-light filming suggestions and stuff like that would be immensely helpful.
I will be importing to a mac computer by the way.
Thanks!
The easiest way to is to set the ISO to 400 or above that your DSLR can handle without image noise and then change the mode to shutter priority. This will automatically set the aperture (F stop for you) for the corresponding shutter speed of 1/250, 1/500 or much faster that you select in your camera to stop the blur of the motion. The faster the shutter speed, the more you will reduce the blur in fast motion.
