I am looking for a camera that takes professional looking pictures. I have seen pictures taken from the Cannon Rebel and I really like the way they look, is there another good digital similar to that one? I am wanting to buy a new camera and am going to school for photography. I just would like to know my options. I’m looking for something no higher than 800.00 maybe, or somewhere close to that.
I currently have an SLR Kodak digital camera that is 10x optical zoom and was about $400. It is great, but way too bulky. I am looking to get a camera $150 or less that is easy to use, takes great pics, and very fun. My friend has one that does artsy effects to photos. Any suggestions?
What is the biggest compact flash card that the Canon digital rebel XT can hold?
I know that you can use any size, but it won’t display how many pictures you have left.
So what is the size that is technically the max?
I have a digital camera but it only takes like 30 second video clips and then it stops and then you can take another 30 sec clip and so on, no matter what size my memory card it’s only 30 sec. I want to get a new camera that takes longer video. Anybody have any suggestions or have a camera that takes like 3-4 minutes or longer of video? I go to a lot of concerts and camcorders aren’t allowed in but cameras are, and I like to get video of it.
I have the canon rebel xs and I am new to SLR photography. I would like suggestions on a good book or two that will teach me how to use my camera specifically as well as digital photography in general. A bonus would be an explanation in the book/books of how to use the software that comes with the camera. Thank you for your help 
I need a camera that has really high quality video…I WOULD just buy a camcorder but I also need a digital camera so can anyone suggest a digital camera that takes a good picture, but more importantly has good quality video?

The lens range you require depends on the sports. I know that 200mm works well for basketball, arena football, tennis, and baseball. 300mm gets you closer, depending on if you are at the sidelines or up in the stands.

I have asked this before, but was answered with only what sizes of cards are sold and what types someone thinks is best for me. My real question is WHAT IS THE LARGEST SIZE THAT WILL WORK? I don’t care to know how many pictures will fit on a 4gb card, I know that information. I need to know if a 32 or a 16 will actually be supported and operate functionally in the Canon T1i. Thank you.
I have had a dslr-like camera for about a year now, and I have learned most of the features of this camera; I am really interested in macro photography, but my camera doesn’t have very good functionality in this area. I was thinking about upgrading to a DSLR, but then I realized I know nothing about them . I have about $1000 to spend on it, but I am much more comfortable spending less.
