How can I click multiple continuous pics in a single go (like 10-20 pics in continuity on a single click) with Canon Powershot S5IS, to select the best in the later phase.

Also, I know a basic camera package usually starts you out with a 18-55mm lens, and this kit comes with a 28-70mm lens and a 70-300mm lens.
I want to have a good basic lens, and also have one that has a good zoom. (I do a lot of action shots at rodeos. Which means I am often times far form the action.)
Any suggestions of the best lenses, and whether or not Sigma lenses are as good at Canon.
More specifically, the Canon EOS Elan II. I have some lenses for my digital Canon EOS, but they don’t fit.
I use an apple mac, so need a camera that is compatible. I carry so many gadgets (phone, iPod, PSP etc.) that i need my camera to by light and portable.
What’s the best camera to buy? I would love to read your advice. Cheers.
My camera is a point and shoot and doesnt have an intervalometer. Can anyone help me out with an easy way to do time lapse photography with it? I found some software called CHDK for canon cameras but I cant figure out how to install it on my camera. I need something that I can mod my camera with so I dont have to keep it attatched to my computer.
I want a digital camera to take to concerts so i can record with really great audio and video quality and to also take great pictures. A simple camera that is inexpensive.
I plan to purchase a Canon Rebel T1i. It comes with a 18-55mm lens. I will need to get a telephoto and a wide angle lens as well. If I purchase this camera, am I limited to only buying lenses from Canon? If not, will the Tamron (or any other brand) lens work with it?
I would like the camera to also have a feature which lets me set the aperture, be good in low light conditions and possibly have an option to manually control the shutter speed.
I’m planning on buying one today.
I want to know if you can use older lenses also along with the newer lenses.
Let me know asap!
I also want to know what type of lenses can fit this camera.
I’m so used to working with nikons that i have no idea what canon uses.
Thanks!
If you have a Canon power shot sd 450 can you tell me the settings you use to get great outdoor pictures. Mine tend to be very grainy looking with too much white in them. Any suggestions will help. THANKS!
